Shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday, a man took a purse from a 54-year-old Captain Cook woman as she was about to enter a business establishment on the 74-5000 block of Kaiwi Street in Kailua-Kona, police said. The suspect fled in a charcoal gray Nissan Altima four-door sedan.
Investigation identified Stringert as a person of interest.
